Not until you do.
Gojo Satoru lowered his head and tickled him. Tu Bai laughed until he was out of breath, rolling around on the Sofa. "Okay, okay, okay—Brother, Brother, Brother! Let go!"
Gojo Satoru finally let go, picking him up with satisfaction. "Good boy."
Tu Bai glared at him and smoothed out the crumpled Engagement Letter. "If I'm late tomorrow, it's all your fault."
You won't be late; I'll take you.
No need to escort me, I'll go by myself.
It's on my way anyway, I'll drive you.
.. Alright.
Early on Day 2, Gojo Satoru drove him to the entrance of Jujutsu High. As Tu Bai got out of the car, Gojo Satoru rolled down the window and called out, "Lunch together?"
Tu Bai turned back to look at him, the Sunlight shining on his face, making it a bit dazzling. "Your treat?"
Fine.
Then I want to eat eel rice.
Fine.
Tu Bai smiled and turned to walk inward. Gojo Satoru watched his back until he could no longer see him, then drove away.
The Jujutsu High Training Ground is located at the very innermost part of the campus. By the time Tu Bai arrived, the students were already there.
Itadori Yuji was the first to see him, waving from a distance. "Tu Bai-ge—over here, over here!"
Tu Bai walked over and sized these people up. Itadori was wearing his Jujutsu High Uniform, his Pink hair shining brightly in the Sunlight, his Eyes round, he looked very sunny when he smiled. Standing beside him was Fushiguro Megumi, with short Black hair and a cold expression, but his Gaze was very serious. Kugisaki Nobara had brown short hair and was standing with his arms crossed, looking in high spirits. Panda was also there, Standing at the very back, fluffy, with round Eyes looking over curiously.
Tu Bai-ge," Itadori leaned in, "I heard you're starting as our Technical Consultant today?
Yeah." Tu Bai nodded. "Mainly the maintenance of the Training Ground and some auxiliary tasks.
Then we won't have to wait for the maintenance crew when the Training Ground breaks!" Kugisaki said. "Last time, we waited two days for them to repair the Barrier.
Tu Bai smiled, "It should be a bit faster."
Yaga Masamichi walked over, holding a folder. "Tu Bai-kun, this is today's work schedule."
Tu Bai took it and flipped through the pages. It was mainly checking the Barrier of the Training Ground, along with some assistance in teaching Cursed Techniques. He nodded, "Understood, Principal."
Yaga looked at him, a rare hint of a smile appearing on his face. "Welcome to the team."
Tu Bai curved his eyes: "Thank you, Principal."
In the first class, Yaga asked him to introduce what he could do.
Tu Bai stood in the middle of the Training Ground, surrounded by the Students in a circle. He thought for a moment and said, "My Cursed Technique is Construction; I can materialize things I imagine. Therefore, here at the Training Ground, I can provide some of you with specialized training."
He paused.
For example, I can construct Cursed Spirit Mimicry that changes based on your weaknesses, attacking non-stop for 24 hours. Like this, you will always have an opponent whenever you come to train.
The entire area fell silent.
Itadori whispered, "So scary.."
Fushiguro nodded, "Even more.. than Gojo-sensei."
Panda shrugged his shoulders, "This is way too harsh."
Tu Bai smiled: "Just kidding. Twenty-four hours is too much; you all need to rest as well."
Kugisaki breathed a sigh of relief.
Eight hours should be about enough.
Kugisaki's eyes widened. Itadori took a step back. Fushiguro remained expressionless, but the corner of his mouth twitched.
"Tu Bai-ge, are you a devil.." Itadori muttered in a low voice.
Not a devil," a voice came from the Doorway, "It's my Rabbit.
Gojo Satoru leaned against the Door Frame, having arrived at some unknown time. He walked over, put his arm around Tu Bai's shoulder, smiled triumphantly. "Impressive, right?"
Itadori looked at the two of them, hesitating to speak. Fushiguro turned his face away. Kugisaki rolled his eyes. Panda silently took out his Mobile Phone and took a Photo.
Tu Bai pulled Gojo Satoru's hand off his shoulder. "Didn't you go to a meeting?"
Finished," Gojo Satoru said, placing his hand back, "I came to watch your class.
Class hasn't started yet.
Then it depends on what you say.
Tu Bai's ears turned red, he ignored him.

In the afternoon, there was a problem with the barrier at the Training Ground. While Okkotsu Yuta and Zenin Maki were sparring, Okkotsu's Cursed Energy output was too great, striking the eastern barrier wall and causing several cracks.
People from the Maintenance Department rushed over to take a look and said it would take until tomorrow to repair.
Tu Bai walked over and looked at the cracks. Then he raised his hand, a Silver White Light condensed in his palm. Demon Power seeped into the cracks, filling the tiny fissures like a flowing stream. In less than three minutes, the Barrier Wall was restored to its original state, leaving not even a trace.
The people from the Maintenance Department stared with wide eyes. "This.. so fast?"
Tu Bai withdrew his hand. "It's alright; it's mainly because the Crack isn't large."
Yaga Masamichi stood to the side, watching this scene, nodded. "A good hire."
Gojo Satoru had appeared again at some unknown time, throwing an arm around Tu Bai's shoulder, his eyes curving into crescents as he laughed. "Of course, my Rabbit."
Tu Bai pushed him, "Can you stop always saying 'my Rabbit'?"
“What should I say then? ‘My Xiao Bai’?”
Don't even say that.
My 'Wife'?
Tu Bai stepped on his foot. Gojo Satoru let out an exaggerated cry, but he did not move away.
Itadori watched from the side and whispered to Fushiguro, "Gojo-sensei seems different than before."
Fushiguro remained expressionless. "In what way is he different?"
Before, I felt like he didn't care about anything, but now it seems.. the things he cares about have increased.
Fushiguro glanced at him and said nothing.
Kugisaki added from the side, "You mean you've turned into a love-brain, right?"
Itadori was stunned, then nodded frantically.
After the training ended, the students packed up their things and prepared to leave. Panda dawdled as he walked over to Tu Bai's side.
Tu Bai-senpai.
Tu Bai turned back to look at him.
Panda scratched his head and asked somewhat sheepishly, "Can I ask you a question?"
What question?
“You and Gojo-sensei.. who is the head of the household?”
Tu Bai was stunned for a moment. Then he smiled, his eyes curving into crescents. "Take a guess?"
Before Panda could even answer, Gojo Satoru's voice came from behind him.
Of course, it's my—Rabbit Head of House!
He walked over, pulled Tu Bai into an embrace, rested his chin on his shoulder.
Right, Xiao Bai?
Tu Bai ignored him but smiled at Panda. "What do you think?"
Panda looked at Gojo Satoru, then at Tu Bai, then silently walked away.
The answer was obvious.
---
In the evening, Gojo Satoru had a Mission, he headed out right after finishing his meal.
"What time will you be back?" Tu Bai asked, standing at the Doorway.
Not sure, might be late. Go to sleep first, don't wait for me.
Mm.
Gojo Satoru leaned down to give him a kiss, then turned and walked away. Tu Bai closed the door and returned to the Living Room to do his Homework.
Halfway through his homework, his Mobile Phone rang. It was a Message from Tu Bao: 【Er Bao, want to play a Game?】
Tu Bai replied: 【No more, I've quit.】
Tu Bao sent a string of crying faces.
Tu Bai ignored him and continued doing his Homework.
Around nine o'clock, the doorbell rang.
Tu Bai was stunned. Gojo Satoru has a key and wouldn't ring the doorbell. Tu Bao would call before coming over. Who could it be at this hour?
He walked to the Doorway and looked out through the Peephole.
A person is standing at the Doorway. Pink hair, Jujutsu High Uniform, round eyes.
Itadori Yuji.
Tu Bai breathed a sigh of relief and opened the door. "Itadori? Why are you—"
He stopped before he could finish his sentence.
The person at the Doorway looked at him, the corners of his mouth slowly curling up. That smile was different from Itadori's usual smile. It wasn't bright, nor was it cheerful; it was a smile that sent a chill down one's back, filled with scrutiny.
Tu Bai took a step back.
You are not Itadori.
The person at the Doorway tilted his head. "You're quite quick to notice."
